It is with great pleasure and excitement that I am proud to announce that the Lone Star State American Pit Bull Terrier Club and Texas Heat American Pit Bull Terrier Club have been approved to hold the ADBA/ADBSI Nationals October 1 & 2, 2011.
The show will be held at the Johnson County Sheriff’s Posse Arena located in Cleburne, TX. We have three buildings on hold including a new climate controlled building for meetings and the judging seminar.
We should all be very proud of this accomplishment. This historic event will be one for all of us to remember. As most of us know Texas has played a huge role in the development and history of our great breed. Many of the best breeders in history have called Texas their home. Now it is our time to represent our state, club members and our dogs in the national spotlight.
We will be hosting attendees and guests from all over world. I know we are ready for this responsibility and feel our club is truly one of the strongest ADBA clubs in the country. I hope everyone will share the same enthusiasm and excitement as me and welcome this very special opportunity.
This event will be a joint effort between our club and the Texas Heat APBT Club. I hope all of us will welcome them and make a special effort to include them in all of our planning and decisions with regard to the show operation.
I invite everyone to think about our task ahead and offer any ideas that they feel will enhance the show.
– Your president, Tom Lundberg
In October 2011, we will be spending money locally for trophies, T-shirts, food, gas, lodging, rentals, printing and much more. Hundreds of dog owners will travel across the state to get to our show. Texas’ status as one of the states without breed bans makes Texas a very attractive venue for dog events like ours. However, between now and October 2011, this could change. Please check out the Action Center for more information on Texas BSL and how you can stop it!

I would really love to become a member of this club and surround myself with people who share the same love i do for this amazing breed of dog. If you could give me some information on the club rules, show locations, and meeting locations it would mean a lot me. Thank you for your time.

This is very interesting..this will be our first,,and most definately not our last appearance…
Can my pitbull enter the weight pulling contest if he doesn’t have papers? Thanks
Thanks for asking! At Nationals because it’s a sanctioned show only dogs with ADBA papers can be on the show grounds. I hope that you can attend some of our “fun” events through the year which are open to all.
