Fall 2009 National Pit Bull Awareness Day Flyer
Lone Star State American Pit Bull Terrier Club will celebrate National Pit Bull Awareness Day Saturday, October 17, 2009 from 11 AM – 4 PM at Mountain Creek Lake Park in Grand Prairie, TX. National Pit Bull Awareness Day was established as a day to focus on these incredible dogs and their devoted, responsible owners.
Owners need not have a registered dog to participate.
Events include:
- Halloween Costume Contest!
- Fun show for ADBA and Bully-type dogs
- Junior Handler
- Weight Pull track (if you own a WP harness please bring it)
- Behavior & Training info
- Food
- Raffle
Events are $5 each, admission is free.
The park is located in Grand Prairie at Lakeview Dr. and Hardy Road, just south of Dallas (click for map).
